Witnesses Sought To Holywell Assault

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a man in High Street in Holywell. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The incident occurred at around 2.10am on Monday May 2 2016, during which a 44 year old man sustained serious injuries. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Investigating Officer PC Ben Baker at Flint Police Station said; “The victim was leaving the Boars Head public house on the High Street and was attempting to get into a nearby taxi. It is believed there was an altercation with a large group of people before he was assaulted. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“The victim required hospital treatment for serious facial injuries. We would like to speak with anyone who witnessed this assault or may know who is responsible.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
