Wrexham Man Charged With Robbery
Ben Brown, 26, of Ridley View, Wrexham, has this evening been charged with offences of robbery, attempt robbery and burglary dwelling.
Two others, a woman and a man, who were in custody for assisting an offender to evade arrest, have been bailed pending further enquires.
Another female arrested earlier today has been charged with a public order offence and will appear before Wrexham Magistrates Court on 6th March.
Det Chief Insp Neil Harrison said: “These offences are serious and in recent weeks have caused a great deal of distress within the communities of Wrexham.”
He added: “We are extremely grateful to the people of Wrexham for all their help over the past few weeks and I would ask that the public remain vigilant, reporting any suspicious circumstances to the police.”
Brown has been remanded in custody and will appear before Wrexham Magistrate’s Court tomorrow, Monday 20th February.
