Changes to Post 16 Transport

Parents and carers are being advised that there are changes to Post 16 transport – school to 6th form or college – that come into effect in September 2016. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

From September no transport will be provided by the Council for students starting college or 6th form. Colleges include Coleg Cambria, Bersham, Llysfasi, Deeside & Northop, Walford & North Shropshire College, Reasehat Colleg and all 6 Forms. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Those who applied for post 16 tansport on or before September 2015 will continue until their 19th birthday if required but they must re-apply by completing the post 16 transport application form available on the Council’s website or from the Contact Centre, Lord Street, Wrexham. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
