Draft Flood Risk Management Plan Consulation

A six week consultation has begun on a Draft Flood Risk Management Plan for Wrexham. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Wrexham Council has a responsibility to develop a series of assessments, strategies and plans to manage flood risk at a local level. This plan outlines the actions to be taken over the next 6 years to be taken to ensure a consistent and clear approach to managing flood risk. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member for the Enviornment and Transport, said: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“We wish to engage with both stakeholders and the public about this Plan and encourage as many as possible to go online to give their views.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
