It’s Time to Apply for School Transport

Parents and carers are reminded that they will need to apply for primary and secondary School Transport from September if they are entitled to do so. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Council will provide free school transport where a child lives over 2 miles from their nearest suitable primary school or where a child lives over 3 miles from their nearest suitable secondary school. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A primary/secondary application form for assisted transport will need to be completed . ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Applications can be made online at www.wrexham.gov.uk/english/education/Transport_Policy.htm or you can pick up a form from the Councils Contact Centre, Lord Street, Wrexham. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
