‘Spooky Saturday’ Halloween Event In Bridgend Town Centre

There will be plenty of treats, and a few tricks, at the ‘Spooky Saturday’ event in Bridgend town centre on 29 October. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Taking place in the Rhiw Shopping Centre and Indoor Market from 10am – 2pm, the ghoulishly good fun will include a scary story time at 11am, trick or treat activities at 12pm, as well as arts and crafts, and face painting. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A pumpkin design competition is also being held in advance, with the six winning designs being carved and put on display at the ‘Spooky Saturday’ event. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

All competition winners will also receive a goody bag, while the child who scoops first prize will have their design made on a cake by Jenkins the Bakers. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Designs need to be submitted by Sunday 23 October, and you can pick up an entry form in the Rhiw Shopping Centre. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
