Running Clubs In Final Sprint For Caerphilly 10K

Members of running clubs organised by Caerphilly Sport and Leisure services are in the final stages of training for the Caerphilly 10K 2016. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Each week running groups take place at Caerphilly leisure centre, Risca leisure centre and Parc Penallta, with around 25 people attending each session. Now 30 members from across the borough are getting ready to take on the challenge of the Caerphilly 10K when it returns on Sunday 19 June. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Caerphilly Sport and Leisure currently have three running clubs which meet weekly at the following times: – ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

• Caerphilly leisure centre, Wednesday 6pm to 7pm
• Risca leisure centre, Wednesday 6pm to 7pm
• Parc Penallta, Sunday 10am to 11am

There are still a limited number of places available for the 10K. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Please note: On June 19 the Parc Penallta run will take place at Caerphilly. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
