National Recognition For Cardiff Met Student Accommodation
Cardiff Met’s student accommodation has been shortlisted in a prestigious UK-wide award.
The university’s dedicated halls team was honoured by the National Student Housing Survey Awards 2016 in the Best Student Community category.
The National Student Housing Survey (NSHS) is an annual survey of students in higher education across the UK.
The survey measures satisfaction levels in all types of accommodation and allows participating institutions to measure their performance against national and regional benchmarks.
The 2016 survey attracted over 33,000 responses from more than 200 universities and colleges across the UK.
Cardiff Met currently has nearly 1,000 study bedrooms located at the Cyncoed and Plas Gwyn campuses.
Speaking about this accolade, Head of Commercial Services, Mark Barry said:
“Cardiff Metropolitan University provides a safe and secure environment for students living on campus, with friendly halls staff available to provide support to students throughout their time at university.
“We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for this award as it is testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team and the engagement of the students. We pride ourselves in our focus on creating a high quality student experience and aim to keep on building on this over the coming years.”
