Officers in Newport and Monmouthshire are asking residents to be extra vigilant following an increased number of reports of dwelling burglaries and thefts from unsecure vehicles. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

This morning, a 27 year old woman from the Abergavenny area was charged with two counts of burglary and threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

She will be appearing in court this morning. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
