Appeal Following A Robbery On St Mary Street In Newport

Officers are investigating a robbery which took place on St Mary Street, in Newport on Thursday 9th March 2017 at approximately 9:50pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The offenders who are described as white males wearing dark coloured puffer jackets assaulted the male victim and made off with his mobile phone. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Following the incident the victim was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital to be treated for his injuries. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
