Appeal For Information After Wire Was Placed At Head Height Near Tredegar House, Newport

We are appealing for information after reports on the 9th of June 2016 that fishing wire was placed at head height near Tredegar House, Newport. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

This caused a male victim to fall off a pedal bike resulting in many injuries including a fractured wrist. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

There is no CCTV in the area so we are calling on the public to come forward with any information. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
