Appeal for information – Single vehicle road traffic collision on the mountain road near to the Mountain Ash Inn, Abertysswg

Officers are appealing for information following a single vehicle road traffic collision that happened on the mountain road near to the Mountain Ash Inn, Abertysswg, today, Tuesday 9th February 2016. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The collision happened at approximately 10am and involved a brown Citroen Picasso. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The driver, a 48 year old man from the Abertwssyg area was airlifted to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff and is stable. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The passenger, a 25 year old woman from the Abertwssyg area was also airlifted to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff and is currently in a critical condition. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
