Appeal For Witnesses Following A Two Vehicle RTC On The A48 Between Newport And Chepstow

Officers in Newport are currently investigating a serious two vehicle collision between a black Range Rover Evogue and a grey Toyota Yaris. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The incident occurred on the A48 between Newport and Chepstow, at approximately 7.30am this morning. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A 21 year old woman is currently receiving treatment in hospital for serious injuries and specialist officers are supporting her family at this time. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The male driver of the other vehicle is also receiving treatment at hospital. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
