Body Of A Man Found In The Rhymney River, Bargoed

UPDATE: Yesterday (Saturday 1st October 2016), a body of a man was found in the Rhymney River in the Bargoed area by Gwent Police officers. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Formal identification has yet to take place, however, we have notified the family of 70 year old Robert Evans, who was reported as missing to Gwent Police on Monday 26th September 2016. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Officers are not treating the death as suspicious at this time, and the Coroner has been informed. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
