Caerphilly residents reminded to remain vigilant following two breaks in – Van Road

We’re appealing for information and reminding residents to stay vigilant following two break ins at properties on Van Road, Caerphilly over the last week. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

On 30th January a property was broken into at approximately 3pm. A man wearing a grey hooded jumper and white jogging bottoms with stripes entered the property while the occupant was at home. On sight, he made off. (log 297 30/01/16) ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

On 3rd February, a property was entered and money and a laptop was stolen. (log 173 03/02/16) ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Please ensure that you keep all windows and doors locked and secure and valuables out of sight. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Please report any suspicious people/vehicles in your neighbourhood to 101. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
