Dispersal Order For Abertillery Town Centre

A Dispersal Order has been issued Abertillery Town Centre to tackle anti-social behaviour. The Dispersal Order will be in force from 5.00pm on Friday 14th October to 5.00pm on Sunday 16th October 2016. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Dispersal Order will apply to the following areas: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

• Church Street
• High Street
• Somerset Street
• Commercial Street
• Division Street
• Station Hill
• Foundary Bridge
• Tesco Plc
• Carmel Street
• Park Place
• Mitre Street
• Market Street
• Castle Street (between King Street and Station Hill)
• James Street
• Hill Street
• Bywater Row ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Order provide Police Officers and Community Support Officers with the powers to direct anyone to leave this specified area if they are involved in anti-social behaviour or if officers think their behaviour may lead to anti-social behaviour. If they return to that area after being moved on, they face being arrested. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
