Dispersal Order Issued In Alway

A Dispersal Order has been issued in Alway, Newport to tackle anti-social behaviour. The Order started at 4pm yesterday, Wednesday 8th March 2017 and will be in place for 48 hours. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Dispersal Order will apply to Aberthaw Rise, Ladyhill Road, Penkin Close, Always Crescent, Ladyhill Green and Vaughan Williams Drive. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Order provides Police Officers and Community Support Officers with the powers to direct anyone to leave this specified area if they are involved in anti-social behaviour or if Officers think their behaviour may lead to anti-social behaviour. If they return to that area after being moved on, they face being arrested. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
