Fast Acting Officers Catch Burglar Red Handed…

On Saturday the 7th of May 2016 at approximately 11:00pm officers were called to reports of a man at a home on Devon Place, Newport.
A 30 year old male was arrested close to the scene shortly afterwards on suspicion of burglary.
He was also arrested in connection with another burglary which occurred earlier that evening on Llanthewy Road, Newport.
