Now, in addition to these, the Force is piloting a scheme in the North Flintshire area designed to make it easier for people get in touch. At the end of three months the scheme will be evaluated with a view to being introduced in other areas. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The North Flintshire Safer Neighbourhood Team are distributing freepost post cards and posters advertising the scheme throughout the Holywell, Flint and Connah’s Quay areas. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Inspector Siobhan Edwards said: “We want to encourage people to contact us so that our Safer Neighbourhood teams and other departments have more of an insight and understanding about local priorities, public opinion and expectation.
