Gwent Police Warn Drivers After Catching One Motorist Speeding At 146mph.

30 year old Garron Duane Groves, from Hereford was caught by a ‘Go Safe’ camera on the A449 dual carriageway near Junction 24 of the M4 travelling at the speed on 146mph. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

He appeared at Newport Magistrates Court on Monday 18th April 2016 having pleaded guilty to dangerous driving. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

He was sentenced to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 2 years along with 100 hours of unpaid work. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
