Investigation Into An Incident In Caldicot

We are still continuing our investigation into an incident on Thursday 6th October in Caldicot, when a girl was asked to get into a car, containing four teenagers. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Whilst this was distressing for the girl, we would like to stress that no-one was hurt and this appears to be an isolated incident as there have been no other reports of this nature in the area. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

There has been an increase in police patrols in the area to reassure residents and pupils and officers are working closely with local schools. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

We are keen to speak to the driver and occupants of the vehicle as part of the investigation. The car has been described as silver Ford Focus, old shape (first generation 1998 – 2004) similar in shape to the photo (which is shown for illustrative purposes only). ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
