Incident In Llandudno Junction: Update
Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident where a 16 year old male was run over by a vehicle on Saturday 24th April.
Detective Inspector Eryl Roberts says “The incident occurred on the A546 between the Tesco and the Daily Post Roundabouts in Llandudno Junction at around 11.15pm last night.
The male has suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to hospital
Anyone who was traveling in the area around this time and witnessed anything is asked to call North Wales Police on 101 quoting reference U058504.”
Update
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following an incident in Llandudno Junction whereby a 16-year-old was hit by a vehicle on Saturday night (April 24th).
Following the incident, the driver of the vehicle, a 17-year-old local male, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
The incident occurred on the A546 between the Tesco roundabout and the Daily Post roundabout at approximately 11:15pm on Saturday.
The 16-year-old local boy was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor by ambulance but has since been transferred to hospital in Stoke with significant injuries.
A joint investigation is underway between the Roads Policing Unit and CID and officers are appealing for anybody who may have witnessed the incident, or to anybody who may have information that could assist the investigation, to contact North Wales Police on 101, quoting reference number U058504.
