Monmouthshire Man Given A 5 Year Criminal Behaviour Order
On 21st October 2016 a 37 year old man from Monmouth was found guilty in Newport Magistrates Court following two breaches of his restraining order.
He attended the court and received a 56 day custodial sentence and a 5 year Criminal Behaviour Order.
The order means he will not be able to enter certain areas in Monmouth including Riverside Park and Hadnock Road for 5 years.
The reason behind the order is that the 37 year old was the subject of multiple calls to both police and fire service over the past 3 months – where he was living in a derelict factory off Hadnock Road in Monmouth and terrorising the residents of Riverside Park close by.
This result shows the true determination of officers in Monmouthshire, who are committed to tackling individuals who are causing upset, annoyance and alarm in the community.
