Monmouthshire Man Given A 5 Year Criminal Behaviour Order

On 21st October 2016 a 37 year old man from Monmouth was found guilty in Newport Magistrates Court following two breaches of his restraining order. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

He attended the court and received a 56 day custodial sentence and a 5 year Criminal Behaviour Order. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The order means he will not be able to enter certain areas in Monmouth including Riverside Park and Hadnock Road for 5 years. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The reason behind the order is that the 37 year old was the subject of multiple calls to both police and fire service over the past 3 months – where he was living in a derelict factory off Hadnock Road in Monmouth and terrorising the residents of Riverside Park close by. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
