New Drivers Caught Speeding In Newport

Gwent Police have received reports of anti-social driving and excessive speeds on the SDR and surrounding roads. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Recently, we have caught a motorist going 109 mph just 10 hours after passing their test. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Officers then caught a second driver who’d only had their licence for 5 months going at 100mph. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
