Residents asked to be vigilant following break ins – Blackwood
Officers are appealing for information and asking residents to remain vigilant and be mindful of home security following several breaks ins in the Blackwood area.
Since the beginning of the year, eight burglaries and an attempted burglary have been reported.
Properties have been targeted on Clos Ceirw (attempted burglary), St Margaret’s Avenue and Gardd Jolyon in Cefn Fforest, Cefn Road, Coronation Road and Gordon Road in Blackwood, Nant-y-Rhos in Pontllanfraith and Penyfan Leisure Park in Argoed.
Most of the break ins occurred overnight or during the morning. Items stolen include laptops/tablets, handbags, phones, wallets and money.
