Serious Road Traffic Collision, Malpas Road, Newport

Do you have any information about a serious road traffic collision that happened at around 7.55pm on Friday 11th March, on Malpas Road in Newport? ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A 51 year old local man was seriously injured as a result of the collision, which happened as he crossed the road near the BP service station. The driver of the car then drove off leaving the man in the road. The man remains in a serious but stable condition at hospital. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
