Update: Fatal Road Traffic Collision in Caerleon

At around 11.00pm on Wednesday 24th February 2016, we received a report of a road traffic collision at Belmont Hill in Caerleon, Newport. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A 21 year old man sadly died at the scene. He can now be named as Thomas Lawrence from Caerleon. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A 16 year old girl from the Pontypool area remains in hospital in a critical condition. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Specifically trained officers are supporting both families at this difficult time. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
