The Big Welsh Car Show Returns To Margam Park!

The 18th of September will see The Bloodwise Big Welsh Car Show return to Margam Park after the success of the first event last year. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

With more cars, more entertainment and more food, this year will see the event raise even more money to help beat blood cancer in Wales. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Alongside the array of classic cars, military vehicles, buses and more on display, the ever popular Rockwood Dog Display team will be showing off their skills in the main arena. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A host of other activites will take place throughout the day. There’ll be autojumble stalls selling a wide range of spare parts, a funfair for the kids, numerous craft stalls and a host of entertainment including a falconry display and face painting. Teams can also compete to see who is the strongest in the first ever Car Pull competition. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Park Manager Michael Wynne said: “I am delighted that The Big Welsh Car Show is returning to the park after a successful first year. The day will have fun events for the whole family and is raising money for a great cause so I look forward to our continued partnership.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Claire Horrex, Bloodwise Regional Manager for Wales, said: “This year the event is bigger than ever and we want to encourage as many families in the local community as possible to come along and enjoy a fun day out. Whether you are interested in cars or not, there’s something for everyone and children under 16 go free with a paying adult. Ticket prices for the event are £10 for an adult, £7 for seniors (60+) and children under 16 go free with a paying adult. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
