Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s impressive regeneration of Bronwydd Pool, which forms part of its £1.7m investment in leisure facilities, is complete and the brand new state-of-the-art gym is open – with everyone being invited to enjoy their first gym session for free! ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

To mark the reopening of the popular facility in Porth, everyone is being offered the chance to enjoy a free introductory session at the brand new gym, which overlooks the swimming pool. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

It is hoped the incentive will encourage new visitors to the facility, which has undergone a huge transformation with improvements to the pool and changing area environment, new reception and, of course, the flagship new gym with the latest equipment and staff on hand to help you get the most out of your workout. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Cllr Ann Crimmings, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment, Leisure and Culture visited Bronwydd to officially open the new gym this week. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

She said: “Bronwydd Swimming Pool is the latest leisure facility to benefit from an ongoing programme of £23m investment in priority areas on behalf of our communities which will also include the development of 3G pitches in Rhondda, Cynon and Taf. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“The new gym at Bronwydd follows the opening of the new Hawthorn Leisure Centre fitness suite. Improved facilities at Abercynon and Rhondda Sports Centres will also be available shortly. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“The investment in leisure centres, and the creation of the easy, affordable Leisure for Life membership to offer inclusive access to gym, swim, classes and indoor sports at all of our centres demonstrates our commitment to leisure services. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“We continue to deliver on this commitment and the new Bronwydd Swimming Pool with gym is now open for business and you can sign up for a Leisure for Life membership online. There is no excuse not to dive in!” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

If you have not had an offer leaflet delivered to your home, all you need to do is collect one from Bronwydd Swimming Pool or download and print a copy here to take advantage of the offer. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

If you like what you try, don’t forget you can enjoy unlimited access to gym and swim (including swimming lessons) at Bronwydd Pool with the Leisure for Life membership. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Leisure for Life offers unlimited access to gym, swim, fitness classes and indoor sports at all Rhondda Cynon Taf Council Leisure Centres, which means you can visit whichever one you want to, depending on what is on and where you are. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
