Explore The Myths And Magic Of Christmas At Pontypool Park
Nature lovers can explore the myth and magic of plants, and how they are traditionally used in the festive season, in Pontypool Park on Saturday 26 November between 10am – 12:30pm.
Torfaen’s countryside officer will lead a free two mile walk around the park, looking for the plants and trees associated with Christmas, and explaining myths and traditions of the festive season.
The walk is expected to take around two hours and will involve some uneven terrain and slopes. It will end in the town centre for around 12:30pm in time for the start of Pontypool’s Christmas Cavalcade.
