Free Guided Walk In Pontypool Park

Nature lovers can explore the myth and magic of plants in Pontypool Park with a free guided walk on Wednesday 14 September between 12 – 2pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Torfaen’s countryside officer will lead a two mile walk around the park, exploring the different plants and trees, and explaining their many different uses throughout history. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The walk is expected to take around two hours and will involve some uneven terrain and slopes. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
