Interest Free Loans Available For Homeowners

Torfaen Council in partnership with Welsh Government are offering the Pontypool Home Improvement Loan to all homeowners and landlords who own properties in the Pontypool area. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Loans of up to £25,000 are available and covers repairs or renovations which make a property safe, warm and secure. Examples of eligible works could include an upgraded central heating system, new doors/windows or insulation. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The loan is interest free but there is an administration fee of £345 payable. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

All applications are subject to meeting eligibility criteria including a financial assessment. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
