Public Relations Guru To Address Torfaen Business Women

The former head of public relations at leading price comparison website Moneysupermarket.com will address business women from across Gwent at Torfaen’s annual Women in Business event on Thursday 19 November. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Sharon Flaherty left the company in 2014 and in less than two years has built her own award-winning business creating online marketing content. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Her business, BrandContent, has won the Wales Start-up of the Year award, and recently picked up three accolades at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations annual award ceremony. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

There will also be trade stands and business networking opportunities for delegates, and the opportunity to enjoy a fashion show and a high tea. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The event takes place on Thursday 19 November at the Parkway Hotel in Cwmbran from 4:40pm until 8pm. Tickets are £10 and all profits will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
