Tour Of Britain Comes To Torfaen
The Tour of Britain cycling race takes place on Thursday 8 September and will see some of the world’s best cyclists, including Sir Bradley Wiggins, pass through Torfaen.
The race enters the borough from Caerphilly along Crumlin Road, passing along Albion Road, through Clarence Road, Rockhill Road and Usk Road, until it joins the A4042, leaving the borough and passing into Monmouthshire.
Road closures will be in operation along these roads between 11am and 12:30pm, however, the event is using a system of rolling road closures, and it is anticipated that individual roads will only be physically closed for around 30 mins.
