Caravan Club Helps To Fund Lifesaving Missions
A North Wales caravan club have help to fund lifesaving helicopter missions by hosting a series of caravan rallies in aid of Wales Air Ambulance.
The North Wales and District Touring Caravan Club raised £500 for Wales Air Ambulance by hosting caravan rallies in aid of the charity.
Each of WAA’s lifesaving missions cost around £1,500 and the charity needs to raise £6 million every year to fund its three helicopter operation.
The Club President of the North Wales and District Touring Caravan Club, Mr B Williams, presented their donation to the charity.
Lynne Garlick, WAA North Wales Fundraising Manager, said: “As a charity we rely on kind donations to fund our missions.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to the North Wales and District Touring Caravan Club for their kind support, which will help us to keep our helicopters flying.”
