Denbighshire Field Sports Night Raises Funds For WAA

A Denbighshire field sports night is helping Wales Air Ambulance to complete its lifesaving missions by fundraising for the charity. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Sun Inn, Rhewl, hosted their Annual Field Sports Charity Night in aid of the Welsh helicopter charity, raising over £1,000 by hosting an auction and a raffle. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Field Sports Group decided to host the event in aid of WAA as several of its members have friends and family who have been airlifted by the charity. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Annual Field Sports Charity Night raised £1,015 for Wales Air Ambulance through kind donations and hosting an auction and raffle on the night. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Mark Stevens, Wales Air Ambulance Fundraising Manager, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to the Field Sports Group for their amazing support. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“Their kind donation will help us to fund our lifesaving missions.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
