Over £2000 Raised For WAA In Memory Of Alan Howe

A charity rugby match has raised over £2,000 for Wales Air Ambulance in memory of Alan Howe, steward of Brecon RFC.
Crowds gathered at the Parc de Pugh in Brecon to watch the Brecon youth team of 1995-1999 play against the Brecon 2nds in memory of the steward for built an impressive reputation across South Wales.
The memorial match was held in the Brecon park to raise funds for Wales Air Ambulance, an all-Wales charity who can be anywhere in Wales within 20 minutes.
The charity game raised £2,448.73 for Wales Air Ambulance in memory of Alan. The funds raised through the memorial match which will help the charity to fund more than one lifesaving mission.
Mark Stevens, Wales Air Ambulance Fundraising Manager, said: “We are honoured that the Brecon teams decided to raise funds for WAA in memory of Alan Howe.
“As a charity, we rely on kind donations to keep our helicopter flying, and their donation will help us to fund our lifesaving missions.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in the memorial game, their kind support will help us to come to the aid of people across Wales!”
