More than 20,000 runners took part in the event in Cardiff, running the 13 mile course around the landmarks of Wales’ capital. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Aaron battled through the horrendous weather conditions with running legends Mo Farah, Dewi Griffiths and Geoffrey Kamworor to help the charity raise the £6 million needed every year to fund its lifesaving missions. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The Pembrokeshire beat his personal best by 16 minutes during the championship race, and raised over £1,000 for Wales Air Ambulance. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Tony Key, WAA Pembrokeshire Community Coordinator, said; “We would like to say a huge thank you to Aaron for his amazing fundraising for Wales Air Ambulance! ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“Not only did he take part in a great event, running alongside champions, but he also raised funds which will help to save lives. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“His donation will help us to keep our helicopters flying over Wales.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
