A message from our Chief Executive, Angela Hughes:
Wales Air Ambulance – our aircrews, our fundraising staff, our volunteers – are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic incident involving two road ambulances in Pwllheli on 28 April 2016.
Our partnership with the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust (WAST) is a close one. The WAST team were a vital part of our inception and development as a world-renowned air ambulance service. Our crews work closely with paramedics and technicians every day, bringing multi-agency expertise to each mission for patients across Wales.
We send our deepest condolences to WAST, their crews and everyone affected by events in Pwllheli.
Diolch yn Fawr.
