Crews From Welshpool And Newtown Attend RTC In Montgomery
At 5.09pm on Wednesday evening (20/07/2016) crews from Newtown and Welshpool attended a road traffic collision in Garthmyl, Montgomery.
The incident involved 1 private vehicle in collision with a telegraph pole. One occupant was released with the help of Ambulance and Fire Services, while the second occupant was extricated using edraulic cutting equipment.
Both casualties were assessed by paramedics and the air ambulance. Firefighters left the scene at 6pm.
The most dangerous hours on the roads on weekdays are the rush hours between 7am and 9am, and between 3pm and 6pm. Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service advise road users to remain vigilant and drive with care during these peak times to avoid collisions.
