Mid And West Wales Fire And Rescue Service

100 firefighters from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service are currently in attendance at a large fire at Gower College on Ty Coch Road, Sketty, Swansea. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The first call was received at 05.04hours on Friday 28 October and at its height, there have been 19 fire appliances and 100 personnel on site dealing with the incident. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The fire, situated within the second and third floors of the four story building, is now under control and we are working with partner agencies to minimise as much disruption to residents, commuters and the community as possible. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
