RTC On A470 Between Llangurig And Llanidloes

On Wednesday night, (25/05/2016) at 08:45pm, two rescue pumps from Llanidloes and Rhayader attended a road traffic collision on the A470 between Llangurig and Llanidloes. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Firefighters extricated a male casualty from the vehicle that was involved in the collision. He was transferred to hospital by air ambulance. Hydraulic cutting equipment was used to free the individual and small gear was also used. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The police were also in attendance. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Crews left the scene at 09:58pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
