The Cabinet Secretary said: ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“While the rest of us will be opening presents around the tree and tucking into our Christmas Dinners with our families, there will be many Emergency Service staff who will be away from theirs, keeping our communities safe. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“This day is no different for them than any other day of the year when they work around the clock to serve the public. These dedicated professionals are there for people who need help, to save lives and protect us all 24/7, 365 days a year. I want to thank them for the commitment they show on Christmas Day and every day.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
