Family Fun At RSPCA Newport Animal Centre

Fun and games are in store at RSPCA Newport Animal Centre’s upcoming open day. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The annual event which will take place on Sunday, June 12 from 11am to 3.30pm, and will certainly be a fun day for all the family – and their canine pals too. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

There will be games, a bouncy castle, competitions, a barbecue and refreshments. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

There will be 11 dog classes on the day and a ‘catless’ cat show for all the cat lovers out there. All you need to do is bring along your cat photos on the day to enter the photo competition. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Centre manager Debbie Caffull said: “We’re really looking forward to our annual open day and invite everyone to come along and join in with the fun. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“The day will be a chance for people to bring along their pet dogs and enter a fun dog show for all ages and types. There will be 11 dog classes in total!” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Winners for the ‘catless’ cat show and the dog show will receive goodie bags for their pets. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Entrance is £2 for adults and 50p for children. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
