RSPCA Cymru Issue An Appeal For Information To Track Down Owners Of Horses
RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information to try and find out the owners of three horses that have been removed from Llangynidr Common.
On Tuesday 26 April, RSPCA Cymru along with charity Redwings attended to specific horses that were of concern at the common in Powys.
A group of horses and a foal were removed from Llangynidr Common by the local authority, Powys County Council, using the Control of Horses (Wales) Act.
Within this group, there were three horses that were subject to welfare concerns, and the RSPCA is appealing for information to try and track down who they belong to.
RSPCA inspector Christine McNeil said: “Anyone with information can contact the RSPCA Inspectorate Appeal Line on 0300 123 8018. Calls are treated in confidence.
“If anyone has any information on these horses please get in touch.
“At this time the horses are in a place of safety and are receiving treatment. The welfare and future of these horses are very important to us.”
