Charitable Concert In Denbighshire

A charity concert featuring a wealth of talented performers from Denbighshire schools and artists from all over North Wales is scheduled for Thursday, April 28th at the Rhyl Pavilion Theatre at 7pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The programme for the evening includes Only Boys Aloud, Piantel, the Denbighshire Music Co-operative Brass Band, Denbighshire Youth Choir, Twm Tegid, Triawd Nantclwyd, Dafydd Jones and Phillip Pike . ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

‘Only Boys Aloud’ has had an incredible year since starting in North Wales in April 2015, with over 80 boys in the choir and are due to perform at the Hampton Court Festival with Katherine Jenkins in June. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Piantel, the well known harp and piano duo from Gwynedd (Dylan Cernyw and Annette Bryn Parri), Denbighshire Co-operative Brass Band who recently gained a Silver Award at the British Youth Brass Band Championship and Denbighshire Youth Choir will take to the stage. Also featured are talented singing ensemble Triawd Nantclwyd and soloists Twm Tegid, Dafydd Jones and Phillip Pike. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Proceeds from the concert will go towards the Samaritans, autism initiatives and Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
