Plans to Extend Glamping Site Raise Noise Concerns in Llanbedr Dyffryn Clwyd

Plans to extend a glamping site have sparked fears about noise and late-night parties.
Vale View Glamping has applied to Denbighshire County Council’s planning committee, seeking permission for a change of use of land at Bryn Rhedyn at Llanbedr Dyffryn Clwyd.
The 770 square metre plot of land, near the Kingsmead and Tyn Y Groesffordd junctions, is currently being used for grazing.
Resident Lauren Humphreys had concerns about noise.
In a letter to the council, she wrote: “As a consideration to be implemented, we would ask for a method to be introduced to limit the amount of noise, such as music, coming from the site from 5 pm-midnight, and where possible a limitation on events or parties being hosted.
“If these do happen, we would just ask to have prior notice beforehand.
“We live in a quiet and quaint area and would like to preserve this as much as reasonably possible.”
The applicant wants permission for three glamping units, internal pathways, and parking, and the site would also be connected to an existing package treatment plant.
The campsite currently employs one full-time and four part-time staff. If the plans get the go-ahead, the campsite will employ two full-time and four part-time staff.
