Appeal Following Hit And Run Collision In Rhewl

Police are appealing for witnesses following a ‘hit and run’ road traffic collision on the A525, Rhewl, Ruthin shortly after 6:15am, Monday 21st November. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

PC 2770 Llinos Owain said: “Police responded to a road range incident following a collision on the A525 in Rhewl, involving a Black Renault Scenic car and a white 4×4 coloured vehicle. The driver of the white 4 x 4 vehicle failed to stop, report and provide details. “ ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“An investigation is underway and I’d like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who can identify the vehicle that failed to stop to contact Ruthin Police Station on 101 quoting reference RC16176022. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
