This article is old - Published: Sunday, Aug 28th, 2016

North Wales Police are investigating after a man was assaulted in Prestatyn yesterday. DS Mark Doyle at St Asaph CID said “At about 6.40pm last night, Wednesday 24th August, a 22 year old local man was walking in Winchester Drive, Prestatyn with his partner and baby, when he was attacked by two men who had been passing on the street. A bottle is believed to have been used against the victim in addition to being kicked and stamped on. Although serious, his injuries are fortunately not life threatening or changing but this was an unprovoked attack which was very distressing for both victim and his partner.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

His accomplice had blue denim skinny jeans and has black hair described as wavy on top.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“If you were in the area at the time, know anything about this or recognise the description please contact North Wales Police and help us identify those responsible.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
