Appeal Following Serious Collision Near Pwllheli
Two people were taken to hospital last night (Wednesday, August 10th) with serious injuries following a road traffic collision on the A499 near Pwllheli.
Police were called at 10:15pm to a report of a two-vehicle collision between a Ford Transit minibus and a Saab.
The emergency services attended and the female driver of the minibus and the male driver of the car were taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd by ambulance with serious injuries.
The road was closed whilst the initial investigation was underway and recovery was requested for both vehicles. The road later re-opened at around 3am this morning.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting reference number U119466.
